The iPhone and iPad have a standardized, homogenized and flat looking color palette, and Apple keeps it that way to 'standarize the user experience' or some such drek.

Does anyone know of am add-in, downloadable palette etc for Photoshop or Lightroom that will duplicate (or closely mimic) that pattern?

I would like to optimize a series of photos for that platform, but have had trouble duplicating the look. No matter what I do, they look different on the PC than they do on the iOS devices.

I would check out the ColorTrue app.

It requires an X-Rite measurement puck, but claims to calibrate the iPad accordingly. I haven't set mine up yet.

As far as I'm aware, all of the iDevices are very close to sRGB.

Set your colour workspace to sRGB or set your proof viewing to sRGB and you will be very close

That's pretty cool, but I want to be able to display what everyone else's ipad and iphone display! I doubt I can get the world to calibrate. :p

Hmm... Definitely food for thought. I will have to dig in to this further, thanks!
