Hello,

Not sure where to put this but I wanted to share. Here is a link to a limited entry permit seine fishery in Sitka, Alaska. Boats get a countdown over the VHF radio for openings of varying lengths. Each seine boat will be coordinating with a spotter lane in the air and a support tender. The herring sac roe is harvested for an overseas market. Here are a few images from the last opening of the 2014 season.
