Hey, the Tortoise did win you know, right...

I have 5 Desert Tortoises at the moment.. I have had more, I have had less...
They just appear, or a neighbor brings one by
We've had a lot of them. Some survive, some don't
We have donated some to the Living Desert (a kind of zoo) for the petting zoo.
They couldn't seem to co-exist the the group, but they are super friendly to humans.
Sadly, one went on a rampage and killed 3 others.. hard to believe, but true

Wildlife should be left in the wild, but what do you do with an endangered species
that shows up in your yard? You get a permit!

Finally the weather has cooperated and we had a nice day.
Just wanted to show that even though it was the 5th of April things were not Spring like.
