They do on my 1DX (did you read that, Teamspeed?
)
Only the peripheral points that acquire focus, of course, but they light up in red.

But why aren't the AF points in the zonre surrounding the selected AF point showing also? I realize I'm derailing my own thread but now this is bugging me, lol. What exactly are you wanting? Why would you want AF points (that you haven't selected) to show? That would just impair your vision cause they are useless since you haven't selected them. http://www.derekcopenhaver.com/

apersson850 Obviously it's a good thing More info | They are selected as auxiliary points, so they are kind of half-selected. Anders

This is what I should be seeing in AF Expansion ( this 4 pt or the 8 pt expansion depending on which I choose). But I'm not. I'm only seeing the main selected AF point. apersson850 Obviously it's a good thing More info | I see the selected one as a big square and the supporting ones as small squares, prior to focusing being accomplished. Once it is, only the point(s) which acquired focus are still shown, since they are the only ones relevant at that time. Anders

I'm seeing only the one, at all times, unless I choose option 2 in the dipslyed AF Points. Michelle Brooks Photography

apersson850 Obviously it's a good thing More info | I have option #1 in the displayed AF points selected. But it's a 1DX, not a 5D Mark III, just to make sure you read that. People keep telling me they are virtually the same, but not always, it seems. Anders
