The post your photos section was way too soft and fuzzy. I kept feeling patronized when posting pictures. I must have not seen The Corner for months. Thank God I found it.

I posted this in people a while ago. Tear it to shreds please.

Two observations from me then! The photo is a little bit soft, and there is a slight colour cast.

DOF appears a little shallow on the right eye. Bacground colors complement, but doesn't really add to the image in any other respect..... almost a distraction. Composition is nice.

The blacks are a little oppressive. I think it would benefit from being a little lighter and a little sharper.

I'll work on it tomorrow morning and put up a new one.

It was a candid and straight from the camera, meaning no cropping. I have never altered a background before, maybe I should learn.

Yellow eh? The room is very yellow. I'll look at some variations.

I love this place. Thank you so much for caring enough to criticize my picture.
