So I pulled out my canon 7d and started to shoot but whenever I clicked the shutter release it has the orange light go on and shoot as if i had it on the 2 sec remote timer, even when i switch it to single shooting, high/low speed continous, it still does this, I also tried going to manual, and program, yet still no results, am I doing something wrong here? I installed magic lantern recently but I don't think that would have any effect, please help me out, thanks!

I've never seen this issue, but I haven't used Magic Lantern either.
I'd remove that first, to see if it makes any difference.

Press the SET button and then switch on the 7D, then release the SET button.
This disables ML.
Clear all camera settings.
Enable "Shoot without CF Card" and remove the CF Card, and see if your problem still exists

I checked mirror lock up and it was off, I completely removed ML and put 2.0.5 on the camera and it solved the issue, but I'm still curious as to what the hell caused this

Yeah I'll give it a second shot, if it happens again though, no more magic lantern lol
