His was due to not properly calibrating white balance with a high stop ND filter.

All in all I am glad to be a member of CPS, they did give me a loaner when I needed it. But may look into a 3rd party warranty.. Be careful to read all the terms, conditions and exclusions on third-party warranties. The one's I've looked at have an out where the warranty provider can cancel and refund your contract's purchase price (not the price of the covered gear) instead of repairing or replacing your covered gear.
