Every year the IceHogs have a jersey designed for one game, and each year the jersey has a different theme. This year the theme was the March of Dimes Foundation. After the game, the players come out to the ice, one at a time, and the team holds a live auction for the jerseys, taken right off the player. After the jersey has been won, the winner gets their photo taken with the player, and have the jersey signed. All of the profits from the auction go to the specific charity the jersey was themed for. This year, the highest jersey was $2300 for Joakim Nordstrom. Coincidentally, a few days after the game, he was called up to the Chicago Blackhawks. Jason LaBarbera was a close second with his jersey at $2250.
