That's got to be golden for at least a CR2. Not sure why, but call me JJ.

How embarrassing would it be for them to bring out a successor to a 5 year old camera that is already passed by? Just my opinion of course. Paul

Having your new camera surpassed is not a bad thing. Putting out a new camera that does not even match the competition is not. I have suspected that Canon has had a 7DII ready several times and each time a competitor put something out first making the replacement look lame. 5 years is an awful long time between models and with each passing month expectations keep growing. Not sure why, but call me JJ.
