This was from when I went to Leigh Creek for a job interview, a week after some major flash floods roared through the Flinders Ranges. I had never experienced the sight before and the damage that these flash floods do. Nearly every creek crossing between Hawker and Leigh Creek was littered with boulders half the size of a car, river pebbles up to half metre deep and River Red Gums that had been ripped out roots and all from where they had stood for hundreds of years. This was one of the less damaged crossings and therefore more scenic with the pools of water remaining. Canon 40D, Canon 28-135 EF @ 28mm, ISO400, f6.3, handheld.
