I agree with stu, you need more DOF- I don't know what the industry standard might be, but I would want at least 80-90% of the cake in focus. I'm not sure about the angle of the cake either- there are a lot of lines but none are horizontal or vertical and it's making me dizzy. Play with this some more... Alan

sony23 Senior Member 738 posts Likes: 1 Joined May 2005 More info | Your using the 50 F1.8 at F2 for this type of shot is too small, you need a min of f5.6, plus the camera is too high lower the camera and increase to f5.6 and it will look better.
