Help - macro camera body

Hey guys, I need your advice.

I mostly shoot underwater photos and using a 5D Mark ii. Now, I want to get another set, a crop camera dedicated for underwater macro photo.

I was looking at 70D and seems it gives the basic features I want, that are:
- Crop sensor
- High IQ
- Video

Any other camera body option other than 70D? Or should I wait for 7D Mark ii?

you can wait for the 7DII but who knows how long you will be waiting.

Why not get the 70D and start shooting? If the upgrade to the 7DII us really that big then you can consider it in the future.

I can't imagine how the 70D wouldn't be outstanding for macro.

There will always be something "better". If you keep waiting for it you are just going to be waiting. Not taking pictures.

It depends up to you... you have currently pretty decent camera, so you can freely wait for 7DmkII, which is not confirmed yet and you can actually wait forever.

Or buy 70D for newest tech and sell it after 7DmkII will be released...
