Haha, I wish I had that kind of access to these wonderful animals. These were at an outdoor sanctuary where you could watch them fly and interact in their natural environment. Pretty cool and really the only way I could capture these images uncropped with a 135L :)

Thanks! Yes, I was able to get very close without really disturbing or bothering the bird. Fortunately they did a nice job posing for me :)

I'd imagine there must be a sanctuary somewhere in Florida. I honestly wasn't sure how close I would be able to get to these owls during my trip here. I was pretty fortunately to be able to utilize the 135L. Currently saving up for a 400 f5.6L and that will probably be my next lens for longer range wildlife.

Heya,

There are centers, but Florida is a long, long state, and the birds are never as nice looking as the wild ones. I have a raptor sanc near by. I might visit it this summer when they open back up.
