I took this shot today and all I have done is a small adjustment in Levels nothing else so C&C please and any suggestions as to what I maybe should have done in P/S.
Thanks.

Well Russell, I think you have a winner!

Was it really like that - it looks like a beautiful place.

You could fiddle with the mountains a bit to allow a little more detail, but the shot is about those amazing blues.

I'm not touching it.

It is a great shot . . . I agree with the mountains, they appear a little flat. Here's an additional tweak in levels to add some depth to the mountains and to remove a little blue from the mountains and greens to help them separate.

Here's a version using curves instead of levels:

really like the pic to start off with, but misterJP that's a great edit. tofin... not sure... cant really see much of a difference apart from you giving the mountain a weird halo! sorry

The greens in the mountain stand out a little better but you're right about the halo...didn't notice that here at this end...not sure if it is to do with recompressing the jpg or I may have just pushed the curves a little to far

I really like these images, especially MisterJP's edit... however, the only thing I would recommend changing is the blue water just beyond the shore from the mountain. For it's placement, it's too blue... otherwise, fantistic scene!

Couple of DSLRs, number of lenses and other stuff... plenty short on talent.

It was a great image to start with, but MisterJP brought out its hidden bonus. Great job by russellsnr2 and added to by MisterJP.

Well done!
