Here is another shot from the same day as my previous thread of a different waterfall. This is Yakso Falls in the Umpqua National Forest.

Very nice, Jordyn! Is this a single shot? The shadows came out really well.

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

Once again thank you everyone for the continuous kind words! It makes me want to keep shooting after I see how much everyone enjoys it.

I would have loved to have spent more time at this location shooting different angles, but was unfortunately limited on time. I had to shoot one waterfall and make sure I got a few keepers before quickly moving to the next location. I only had one day in the National Forest so I wanted to hit as many falls as I could within 5-6 hours. This being said, I had to quickly move from this location because the sun started popping through the clouds. I hate shooting waterfalls when there are hot spots of direct sunlight. It can really ruin a whole day of shooting for me and waterfalls.

I would recommend anyone visiting this waterfall to visit in the early summer (late May or early June) because the flow is weaker and it makes an awesome looking waterfall when the water is coming down and fanning over the rock located at the base. I will be revisiting early June hopefully.

Cheers!

nice shot. Haven't been to that falls in years. I am assuming you hit up Watson, Toketee and Lemolo Falls as well?
