Hi,
I just purchased a used Canon 580 exII from someone. I have a 430ex2 flash. When I turn on my 430ex2, I can hit the pilot button and a test flash pop. On the 580ex2, can I get a flash test pop doing the same by hitting the pilot button. The 580ex2 that I got makes a buzzing sound and the lights stays on when I hit the pilot button.
Also, the pilot stays red and does not turn green.
ps... found the issue. I had to disable the modeling light under cfn.
