Taken during the 2016 blackwater flood on the River Murray. After years of limited rainfall in the QLD/NSW catchment areas, 2016 saw the tannin and nutrient rich floodwater make its way down Australia's largest river. Whilst it did stink and looked awful, it was apparently safe to swim in. Not that I did that, I just enjoyed the reflective qualities it provided from my yak.
