Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM (Art) is finally here!

people are just exaggerating on some threads... sometimes the problem is, it's a shot they don't want to see... that's why I took that kind of shot, because they need that bokeh to be exaggerated too.. LOL..

here's another one, I didn't posted this at first - it was a bit windy and I knew the focus shifted away on the flower when I took the shot. And I'm quite sure someone might say AF issues!

just take a look on the area where it's focused.

Did you even bother micro adjusting it or did you do what I plan on doing and slapping it on shooting right away and micro adjusting it the first rainy Sunday I am bored?

What I did first? Well I took a ruler, looked at my viewfinder and focused exactly at 12cm hoping and expecting the lens will focus at 11 or 13 mark at f 1.4. Guess what? It perfectly focused at 12. My thought was ooooh yeah! So there are no Manual Adjustment made on this lens. I have some night shots here but I'll post it when I wake up tomorrow. It's already 2:30am here. I'm gonna sleep with my camera at my side tonight. Haha

I never thought that 1.4 has a very thin depth of field. I had the 1.8 before.

I think there is someone from Oslo who received the lens first. It's where the shop is located. I live in Bergen and our postal service here is still ancient. It takes 2 days to deliver the items from Oslo to Bergen.
