In the CameraWindow software, there is a field at the top - Owner's Name

Anyone know where I can fill this in ? On camera or software ?

Thanks!

In CameraWindow, click on the gear in the top right (Preferences). Then choose "Camera" and "Set".

Is the software CameraWindow something that comes with Canon cameras?

I do not have that software for either my XSi or 60D....

Check on the CD; there is a Camera Window (part of the EOS Utility) for the EOS line as well; it permits remote shooting with the camera connected to your computer via USB as well as the features that the PowerShot version supports.

Thank you Jon! I have had all the programs from my CD's installed. I checked the EOS Utilities and found 'Camera Settings/Remote Shooting' which I have played Remote Shooting with some in the past.

I have had my name in the MetaData for sometime but I do not remember how I got it there but I do not remember having done it this way.

Is there another way of getting your name into the MetaData?

Thank You!

In the newer models, you can use the camera menu and a rather tedious "typing" of the desired info. That wasn't available back in the day of my D60, 20D, 5D and other older cameras; I can't recall when they introduced it. I've always used the Camera Window route (and included my phone number as well).
