All of the triggers and flashes that are about really confuse me. I was waiting for the yn 600rt to be released as is seems like you'll be able to control them from an on camera transmitter.

From Googling around to find a release date I noticed a video talking about a 560tx transmitter being released which seems to control the 560iii in the same way.

But I can't see this for sale anywhere even though it was apparently due to be released late 2013.

At the moment I use a cheap transmitter to trigger my 430ex, then I have 3 560ii which I use in slave mode so they're triggered from the 430. I use them all in manual and just want to be able to alter the power on them without having to walk over to them - but can't justify paying out for the Canon ex600rt system.

Anybody know anything about the 560tx transmitter?

Have been using the Canon system for two years now. What good is waiting for Yongnou cheaper price if it has not been released to the market?

AFAIK, the 560 III has a single pin. It doesn't have the brains for this.

A rf-603c will fire a 560 III, but the communication between them is "dumb."

4 flashes and a transmitter will be about £2,000. That's a crazy amount when the same from yongnuo should be more like £500.

I can stick with my ghetto solution for now, just wish it was clearer as to when things will be released!

I don't know enough about what any of them do. What benefit do the other yongnuo transmitters offer over how I currently do it? I'll try and find the video I saw which suggested it would control the 560iii, I know the ii definitely only has one pin (not that I know what they're for!)

You'll find some very good descriptions of what triggers will work with the built in radio receiver of the 560 III if you visit the flash havoc web site. There was supposed to be a transmitter released that would remotely adjust the manual output of the flash - but that has yet to be released. If you visit the flash havoc site regularly - you can stay up to date on all developments for flash......

Are you talking about the yn-622c-tx? AFAIK, that will not be compatible with the 560 III.

No, I am not talking about about a 622 product. But if you visit the flash havoc site you will very quickly find that info out. I suggest this visit so that you can get some clear and concise acurrate info, rather than deal with possible conjecture. The flash havoc site is a must read - I cannot stress that enough.

I'm well aware of Elv's site. Found what you're talking about.

I know this thread is pretty old, But I just recieved my YN560III & YN560TX Bundle, and it's fantastic. I currently have the Neewer TT850's with the FT16s, and they work really well, but I liked the ability to use the 60+ AA batteries I've already purchased and still carry for use with my 600ex-rt when I'm shooting on camera. I will be using the YN's for a wedding this coming weekend and post my results if anyone is interested.
