Facial expression on 1 is better than 2. I also like the eyes to look away they way they do in 1 as well.

Thank you all. Taking people shots is a bit out of my comfort zone. I primarily shoot birds as well as other wildlife and some landscape images. In addition to not being used to taking people shots, this was the first time I ever shot at so high an ISO (1250) with the 7D and I was impressed with the IQ at that ISO.
