Some friends of mine were passing through town and wanted to take some photos before they hopped back on the road.

Shot with 5dmkII (Recently purchased)
50mm 1.4
Shot at around 4:30PM

On my computer at home the white balance looked good, now on my work computer they look a slight bit blue-ish. There were a few that I took wide open but the family wasn't in the same plane so one person was focused while the others wasn't.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Considering you were dealing with a little one I love them. I think the WB is okay, maybe bring the brightness down just a tad to bring the edges back, but what do I know

Some good shots here.....nice framing and expressions..WB looks fine but they are overexposed a bit...the whites are blending with detail missing.
Might want to pick a better background next time someone pops by for a session :)

Everything seems tilted slightly to the left. A little overexposed, but nice job.

The little guy looks great, so you did good! (Nobody cares what the parents look like, anyway!) ; )
It seems to be an overcast day, so the light wouldn't be changing much between shots. Then try this when you have time: Need an exposure crutch?

And for those who ask "Why?": Post #47

Thanks will check it out!
