Grey wagtail

This grey wagtail was happily flitting back and forth on our local stream this weekend.

The bird was centre frame in the original shot and I used centre weighted auto exposure. I tweaked a third of a stop reduced exposure in lightroom plus a few other tweaks to get the feel I wanted. Then cropped to get the framing - oh the joy of today's mega pixel cameras - I used a 5D Mk3. But the the real magic, as ever, was a lovely day and lucky positioning of me, the bird, the sun etc.
