I had a few ideas with mirrors, but found them very difficult to execute because I don't have the tools for it, or the lights! But here are a few attempts.

This one is taken in front of my old dressing table. It has a mirror with two side mirrors. Half closing those side mirrors showed a whole lot of different me's. As much as I tried, the camera couldn't see what I saw and captured only four of me.

Another mirror image. Stuff on my bedroom wall, shot in a little handmirror.

Nice shots Levina! But now it looks like I am combining your idea with Ricardo's! :p

I may have to come up with something different...

Reflections in the water, shot through the reflections in a hand mirror.

You have some great talent Vette. Well thought out pic and well executed. Love it.:)

You've been busy! Did you happen to see Tim and his wife?
They were in Amsterdam, but left today!

No, I didn't. But I thought Tim was Dutch to begin with. His name is Dutch.

Levina, I meant to ask, but didn't want to be too personal ...
In the photos on the reflective image, are those family photos ?
You could say none of ur business if you like :)

They're all me, Jo. Taken at different times over the last decade I think. They're actually selfies, taken with the webcam. Including those with my mum. The B&W was taken a long time ago with a genuine camera (a Ricoh SLR that was mine - I still have it!) and that's my dad next to me.

After my mum died I printed out some of the shots I took of us together and a few were chosen and printed large. These small ones were all basically test shots and later I stuck them between the glass of the blackberry drawing. I thought it would be nice to use these for the shot as yet another meaning of "reflection."

Thanks, Terry. Yes, autumn tends to be dampish here, but not usually quite this bad.
We have been treated to the tail end of a tropical storm...thank you Queensland!

I love those old B&W family photos Terry. Like Levina's, they open doors to you and your history, and are quite charming. What service was your father in?
