Good work, everyone!

Gumball machine just inside doorway of small shop, reflecting light from the street.

Restaurant scene. Lots of reflections here, although that wasn't the point.

Terry, those are wonderful!
I love restoring old photos and those are in pretty great condition.
..and what a handsome couple they are! You must be pretty handsome yourself ;)

Thanks Joayne. Wish I had more old pics. Had to laugh. When my kids were little, they used to look at the pic of my dad and always thought it was me.:)

Ok.. Here are some reflections

No I was not driving at the time.. lol

Good one joyayne. That camera really fills the frame, so I assume its a full frame camaera.:)

Thanks, Terry. Yes, autumn tends to be dampish here, but not usually quite this bad.
We have been treated to the tail end of a tropical storm...thank you Queensland!

I love those old B&W family photos Terry. Like Levina's, they open doors to you and your history, and are quite charming. What service was your father in?

Thank you Ricardo. My father was in the Marine Corps. He was 17 years old when this photo was taken.:)

Nice interpretation and photo KT.

Thank you OldCrow.:)

Ricardo, your weather pictures are always great. I'm tempted to say the weather in your area must be special, but more likely it's something you're doing.

Stina, Office Reflections has an intriguing feeling of mystery. I can't tell which parts are real objects and which are reflections, maybe all of them, and the view seems to be upward at a dark sky but then there's the sharp OFFICE sign in it. So the orientation is unknown or floating, something like that.

The number of positive responses to my shot of people through a glass surprises me because the idea is gimmicky.

Thanks, OhLook. I went with black and white to enhance the mystery. :D
I also agree with what you said about Ricardo and gimmicky or not ( I never thought of it as so) your glass photo is pleasing to look at. :D

Thanks Stina...scenes like that sure make up for several days of horrible weather.

OhLook, regarding my weather pictures...I have to confess that we do live in a place with a landform that encourages interesting weather effects. Mountains to the west and south, the Tasman Sea beyond the western mountains and to the north, along with the great westerly weather patterns of the Roaring Forties...what could be better?

As for my contribution? Being out there every day is a good start, but the only thing I do that may be different is that I tend to shoot "low"...often as much as a stop. I have read in this forum that many 5D users find that their cameras underexpose, so they usually set their EC half a stop high. With both my Mk2 and Mk3 I have found that the opposite suits my particular style, so I shoot low.

BTW, your people through the glass shot might be a bit "gimmicky" but it was very well done!:D

How fitting of a Reflection OldCrow. Besides the reflection theme, it fits an Easter theme very well also. Nicely captured.:)
