Hello,

I have 5D3 which has quite big black spot on sensor. Tried to clean it, but it won't gave up. It evenly appears on F1.2 aperature, so I don't think that it is dust.

Maybe I can get rid of it somehow? See below image. One is sized to pixel size, so there is ±10 pixels which has variuos colour :( Maybe someone also had this problem?

Go into the menus and do a manual cleaning. If they are mapped out, then they were stuck pixels and problem solved. If not, then you need to look deeper.

If it's showing up at f/1.2 it's not dust. It's possibly something stuck in the AA filter close to the pixels.

It's possible given that each pixel is actually made up of a number of photo sites.

Note in the below diagram, each pixel is a 2x2 block.

Send it into Canon. They'll take care of you. You have something smudged on top of your sensor. Just have to get it cleaned professionally because it's not dust.
