This Green Heron gave some new meaning for patience and strong toes. watched him go after minnow after minnow until he finally fell off the limb he was on and out of the frame. It was definitely meal time, the cormorants were bringing up catfish after catfish.

Thanks Sandy and Martin. I think it got to the point he was showing off for the elementary class that the Audubon people were showing around. There were probably 30 kids on the bank watching him.
