Looking for a reasonably priced wide zoom for my Canon D60.

Does anyone have any comments to make about the Sigma 17-35mm EX HSM Aspherical Lens, (the older version, not the current one).

I got the Sigma 15-30 for mine when the Tamron 19-35 wasn't enough.
