I did this once before, and my action disappeared in upgrade a while ago.

I had an action made so when I exported all my photos from LR, it would run and expand the picture by say 10 pixels. When I print at costco, for bleed it always crops off a slight bit of the photo. This gets annoying when you have it cropped tight on a face, then you get print and some of ear is now missing.

I can't remember how I did it. I know how to make action. But I was playing around this morning and though I would just expand canvas by 10 pixels, but you have to give dimensions and my photos all have slightly different sizes, not one size fits all.

What is best way to accomplish this. Almost like I want to crop, but crop bigger.

Please help!

Thanks

What about using "percent" instead of "pixels" in the canvas size window?

If you are making your action, then you should only have to enter the values of 10 pixels, relative ticked, one time. The action will use these values again without you having to re-enter them.

:D Yeh, It's amazing the little things we forget about when not used very often, the reason for my 2 posts. I wrote the 1st post then had a 'wait a minute' moment and realized I've done this before too, how did I do it!
