Shutterboss Intervalometer question

I have the Vello Shutterboss, and have not used the intervalometer function. The other night, during the lunar eclipse I wanted to, but after reading the manual, wasn't sure.

It says to set the camera's shutter speed to BULB. After that, I didn't see how the shutter speed would be controlled. I must be missing something. So, how do you set it up if you want say a 1/60th second SS every 4 seconds?

on the shutter boss i think you just put your camera into m/tv or av setting and select your exposure then on the shutter boss intvl you put in your min.hours and sec.

Here are snips of the manual for using/setting the interval timer and setting the number of shots. It says to set the camera to bulb exposure, and then the time between shots. The next section shows how to set up the number of shots. No where can I see how to set my actual exposure. I'm sure it's simple, and I'm missing the obvious.

But what if I don't want long shutter speeds for the intervals? The fastest SS when using LONG is 1 second. What about when I want to use a 1/250th SS (or similar)? That's where I'm finding the issue. When I planned on using it for the lunar eclipse, my shutter speeds were at 1/60th (and slower).

You don't have to be in bulb, particularly if you are using the faster shutter speeds you mention. For the lunar scenario you mentioned, put your camera in manual (or Tv) and set your shutter speed to 1/60. On the shutterboss, go to the INTVL and set the time for 4 seconds. This will then take a 1/60 shot every four seconds until you turn it off.
