Last year we noticed, for the first time, a pair of Tawny Frogmouths had taken up residence in a tree just behind our backyard. They disappeared as winter came.

Happily they came back again this year and I finally went out the back and walked down to the tree they're in (we have a gully behind us). Such a wonderful subject to try my new 70D on :)
