This was taken at Roan Mountain, TN where there was a foot and a half of snow. Tell me what you think.

Here is the latest version, I tried my best to rid the image of the blueish hue to it. What can I do to get the trees more light, like you suggested. I see the sky is not exposed all that well, but it was veyr overcast, the sky was just a big grey blob. And the lighting at the time was very poor. That should be the first thing corrected. Also, I would like to see more contrast (especially lighter lights) in the snow and trees. As far as the actual subject goes, it does not do much for me as I don't see enough of the road to signify a journey - BUT that is mostly a matter of taste, and if you liked it enough to shoot it, who am I to say. Rad I agree with these comments: for me, the scene lacks immediate foreground interest - the foreground in the shot looks too empty. If for example, on the right- hand side there was some object like a road sign this would overcome that problem.
