Advice on trip to India

Hi Friends,
I would like to get advice on what lens to carry and if I need to buy any new lens? My usage is -- family pics, sight seeing etc.. basically all purpose..
what do you suggest for me to carry? Then about budget.. haven't really thought how much to spend...of course never cross $900.. but would prefer lower..

The lenses you have will do just fine focal length wise. India is a bright place with plenty of sunshine, so the glass you have should be fast enough. The only thing you might think about is whether you would want something in the 24-28mm range that is fast, for indoor shots. In India, travel light and guard your gear. The fewer bags and such you carry, the better the chances of everything making it back with you.
