Thanks everyone for the feedback!

The thought process behind the last logo was a water droplet (seascapes) and mountains (landscapes). Similar to the first one with the wave going through the mountains.

I'm still not convinced haha! I do appreciate everyones comments, though! Thank you all!

How about using either of the first 2 but adding a circular shutter to make it look like it is a rising or setting sun behind the mountain as added photography emphasis.
Just my .02 :)

I like the strong shapes of the first one. I don't like the big black area in the second one, and I don't like the water drop or the circular border in the third.

1 looks nicest, 2 is more photographic. 3 not working, the droplet is suggesting you're doing something with water.

#1 is very Modern. I can see that on any fresh website design.
#2 is very classic. Would be a good logo for T shirts, or hats, etc.

Just my 2 cents. Good stuff though for sure.

Thanks again, everyone!

This is my latest concept. I'm taking it in a different direction by trying something that isn't a typical logo. I went with something a little more 'graphical' in this design. I really dig it.

What do you guys think?

It reminds me of a button I have on a hiking backpack. It is nice as a logo... just doesn't say photography to me.

That's true! I agree that a lot of logos 'say' what they're advertising/selling but just as many don't.

Looking around my office, almost all of the logos I can see don't at all represent their respected companies. Apple sell computers, their logo is an apple. Logitech sell electronic media devices, I have no idea what their logo is supposed to be. Toyota, along with every car maker I can think of; sell cars, but Toyota's logo is a few circles squished to form a 'T'. UPS transport goods, their logo is a few letters in a badge... I hope you don't feel I'm being rude, I'm just trying to make my point :)

Personally, I think it works either way. If I'm wrong, please correct me! I want to get this right!

It all depends on the context it is used. A logo on its own doesn't build the brand. The style of imagery, the marketing material around it etc will all do that.

Absolutely! I don't plan on waiting for my logo to get me noticed, I just want a nice looking logo that captures what I shoot. Hopefully, my images will do the talking! :D

Consistency of use is key. Don't just think logo, think every aspect of your branding. The more people seem the same think the more it will resonate with them.
