the DOF is too shallow, the front of his face is blurred. In fact the area of his face that is sharp starts just after his nose, and this is the part of the face away from the camera, so we see very little of the sharp parts of the image.
In terms of framing it appears fine.
I'd have done some dodging/burning in post, but that's subjective.. :)

I really like the angle, framing, and mood of this image and don't have any concerns with DOF or focus point well done!

This reminds me of some of Edward Weston's work. Nice.

With a bit more light the focus looks better. The eye sockets are much too dark for my tastes.

I like the pose and intense feel to this. I also think the B&W is good too.

However something seems strange with DOF. The right-hand side as we look the focus seems to suddenly come in on his dark stubble .. did you alter this? The eyes are too dark as has already been mentioned.

Perhaps not far off a finished article.

It reminds me of Edward Weston's work as well. I don't have an issue with the technical aspects (dof, lack of light on the eyes), but think it's still valuable to have those basic critiques to at least be aware of.
