Hi,
I took this photo of a ladybird in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.
I would like your comments and criticisms. Thanks

They are quite a hard macro subject as they are so 3D the depth of field can be an issue. Thank you very much for your suggestion. I will try something like that, although I am using a Canon Powershot S95 for my photography. Canon Powershot S95, Canon EOS 1000D attached to Skywatcher Explorer 150P on an EQ-3 unguided mount.

Poyatos Goldmember More info | Apr 27, 2014 12:43 | #6 Love the composition and a refreshing change from the usual macro close-up of a ladybird (the Oliver Cromwell, 'warts and all', portrait style). I really like the placing of the ladybird to the extreme corner while the empty space into which she gazes, emphasizes a zen like simplicity to the beyond. Alex

I thought that placing the ladybird on one side will draw the eyes towards it with everything else out of focus. I also did it so then it looks better as a wallpaper on my laptop.
