Smith River Forks. No Dam. Pines meet Redwoods

Smith River ... Del Norte county of northern California. Found out last night I have one extra original in reserve, posted 2nd. I chose not to go for silky water and picked detail in the middle rocky area and the stone patio masonry on the right side cliff. The tighter shot in the 2nd reply shows a bit more madrone tree foreground. Pine and Coast Redwoods overlap range in this photo, with other evergreen tree species. About 1 mile downstream, it flows into old growth Jedediah Smith redwoods.

Just got canvas print of the photo earlier today, and it came out better than expected. Was concerned whether too much detail would be lost. My first experiment with a print on canvas.
