And those are wonderful captures, OhLook.

Thank you all for your comments. I'm running out of ways to say thank you. Anyone got ideas for introducing originality?

I wasn't going to post this but my son said I should.
I found this in the grass next to our cattle guard.

I think it's an opossum.

Yes, great finds Stina and OldCrow. Our garden feels quite bereft of life now that autumn is firmly here. Time I went and lifted some leaves to see what's lurking!

Growing old disgracefully!

A good find Stina. Looks like a fairly recent demise of that guy.

It seems to be. It matches these: Opossum teeth (external link). I didn't know they had fangs.

Thanks, Ricardo and Terry.

I have another one. This time I gathered things I have found.
I found the cow skull, drop horns, bottles and door knob (found next to what was left of an old homestead/shack) on the ranch I live on. I found the rock on the beach, it reminded me of a skull or ghost face and for some reason I have kept it.
The little bowl with Roman looking soldiers was found at my old job when the owner was digging in the ground and he let me keep it. :D
