The title is pretty self-explanatory, but i was wondering what kind of bags members have to carry around this lens. My current bags aren't big enough to carry this guy attached to a body, so i'm in the market for another backpack to carry it. I saw one person uses the Lowerpro Pro Runner 300 AW and another the Case Logic DCB-319. Thoughts? Thanks

...nevermind the bag, not many members are privileged to carry this lens as it is...

I am thinking of getting the Lowepro Flipside 300.

Really? I remember reading a bunch of ppl had received it on this sticky that i was following it. No matter, i guess a better way to phrase the question then would be the best bag to carry a longer lens lol.

For bags (with a mounted camera body) you can store the camera with the lens hood reversed - including a pro body in the Think Tank Urban Disguise 35. If I want a backpack, the Think Tank glass taxi works. If I want to hike, the Mindshift Rotation will work in the rotating pack, if I use the SL1 as the body. Otherwise, it will fit in the top section. I have been having an absolute blast with this lens!

I had read the Tamron doesn't fit the glass taxi too well, like it slides around in there. Have you had that experience?

Have not had any issues. I have lots of divider options.

Ok great, I'll still leave that as an option then. Do you have a picture with the lens and camera in the bag by any chance? I would be curious to see how it fits in there.

I have the Sigma 150-500, I carry it in a Swiss Gear backback, with an inexpensive universal camera pack divider that I purchased on Amazon.com . It allows me to have the camera and lens mounted together in the center of the pack, along with space on either side int he divider for extra lens(s). etc.

Seems to do the job for that lens, I assume the Tamron is around the same length.
