following on from this post the Grey Fantails, Cranky Fans, have returned to their nest made several years ago in some old fan belts.
I assume it's the same birds
I went to look into the old dairy and the two fantails went crazy and flitted about with much twittering at me.
Then they seemed to quieten down with this one posing for a shot before flying off.

I was pleasantly surpised to see this one sitting on the nest. Quite gloomy in there

I will keep an eye out for the offspring and hopefully get to photograph them.

So very nice Ulrike.
They are very striking wrens.

A London stopover on their holiday flight.

I don't think so - they'd probably have been fleeced or mugged!:-) But nice shots!:-)

Yes it is amazing.
I look at some of these nests and boggle how they craft them with just a beak

Persevere Ulrike. It'll happen.

One thing I've observed is clothing type, colour etc.
I used to try and be discrete but I gave up on that when I discovered it didn't seem to make a scrap of difference.
I wonder what the reality is.

Hi All, I've been lurking here for a while but not really posting. Thought I would log in and make a contribution. This is a Rainbow Bee Eater at Lake Gwelup in Western Australia.
