They snuggled up together, preened each other and themselves, stared at each other and me. It was a very special 5 or more minutes watching them. They were somewhat hidden and not easy to photograph, but the pleasure was in watching not getting a photo of note What an endearing look (in #2) on the face of the RH Wren.

I watched with amazement a squadron of these Little Wattlebirds fly straight towards the window as I gazed out into the new day. Then they veered up and over the roof. These Yellow Wattlebirds are so fast and playful, mixing it with the Little Wattlebirds. I always enjoy your pictures of all the unique critters you have. Thanks!

They're having a very hard time here from sugar gliders and logging. These photos are beautiful. I love the chat. It's very nice. Curious. I see references in photography forums re treatment ponds. Obviously allowed there. Not sure we could go to such here. Insurance issues and everything else. My work rubs shoulders with our waste management agency. I'd love to hear how you go there as I'd like to ask TasWater what their thoughts are here? https://www.melbournewater.com.au …apply-birdwatching-permit A coupla bodies and a few lenses

Thanks Graham on all counts.
