A fluffed up Eastern Yellow Robin in the rainforest, sheltering from the cold wind in the Lamington National Park, SE Qld.

Thanks - the Canon EF Extender x1.4 Mk III lives on the 300mm F2.8L Mk II some 99% of the time, giving me a nice 420mm at F4 in a reasonably light weight package.

Where the habitat of the two previous Rosella's overlap "hybrids" are actually more common than "pure" breeds.

Crimson Rosella from the more temperate regions. This pair were feeding young in the nest hollow.

A couple of very heavily back-lit, into the sun Australasian Grebes.

On-camera Speedlite used to push some light into the heavy shadows.

You certainly captured them beautifully in their natural environs.
The Plover certainly is watching and ready.
The chick is so nice :-)
You must have been fairly close.

The light on the Grebe is beautiful. Really nice composition.
