I watched the video mentioned a few posts up. Very interesting and informative. I am surprised, to say the least. Especially by the one gentleman's description of wildlife shooting and the realities of distance, range and APSc vs. FF. And I agree with the other gentleman that carrying a 7D/500 f/4 w/1.4 TC is a LOT easier than carrying a 5D3/600 f/4 (a monster) and getting more pixels on target with the 7D setup. I think the main take-away from the video is that the photographer is still more important than the equipment he is using. Talent, ability and knowledge count.

Thanks guys. It is amazing what you can learn if you let it soak in. Now why did I buy a 6D, again? JK. I like my 6D.

A follow-up thought.... Is all of this a testament to how good cameras and lenses have gotten of the last decade or so?
