I had a chance to shoot my friend Carl's 39 Ford over the weekend. It gave me the opportunity to experiment with my new lens and speed light, so I played around a bit with angles, lights and shadows. Here's a few from the shoot. Phot's 2 & 3 are similar angles, and I can't decide which I prefer. Let me know what you think.

Nice looking Ford! I think those would work better with a black floor. And you should try this: https://photography-on-the.net …p?p=9285903&postcount=100

Great link! I would love to try that! That is a beautiful shot. One day! I am going to get a couple more speedlights as soon as I can. If I would have been able to also light the car more toward the rear as well I think my photo's would have turned outa bit better. For what I had to work with I am pleased with how they turned out.

What kind of fabric is that, that they used in that shot in your link?

We used painted canvas flats. (external link) Heavily starched & ironed sheets might work. Or big pieces of painted cardboard.
