This was a high ISO photo taken in a poorly lit room with different brightly colored walls and no ceiling (dark rafters), so it was very difficult to adjust WB.

So, after many different edit attempts, this one seems to have natural skin colors... but by now I am not really sure what my eyes are seeing.

Your opinion is appreciated...

Judging from the values of blue in her eyes and the % of cyan on her skin, she appears a bit "cool" to me.

Judging from my eyeballs and a calibrated monitor, I agree.

How would you go about fixing this ? I am hesitant to just bump up the temp because the skin starts looking orange-ish.

Use the "Photo Filter" under Adjustments in Photoshop.
Select the 2nd option for correction.."color" and click on the color swatch square. Now click in the white part of the eye (it will be bluish)....reverse the values under a and b in the color picker box. In other words, if you have minus 6 in a and minus 14 in b, change it by deleting the minus signs so that you have a plus in both. The color picker will then be set to warmer colour....the opposite of the blue in the whites of the eyes.
Use the % slider to change the amount that is applied (the default is 25% but you might go higher). Note that you are not just changing the blue tone in the eyes, you are applying the change globally. The best judge is your eye as mike has said above.

Thanks, will try. In the meantime I just adjusted sliders. +100 temp, slight bump in whites. Does this look better ?
