Updating my website design, it still needs work, but I would appreciate people's input.

Wow, you have some very striking images. I think your website is very easy to navigate and interesting to view. A few of the images in your portfolio don't seem to fit with all the rest. Namely the cupcakes, the couple on the steps with the little boy and the wedding cake.
I wish I was half as good as you are.

Could be my ancient computer or my connection, but your Portfolio slideshow is very slow.

What is the white box under the 'About' link? When I hover over it I see a 'CV' displayed. Clicking on that I see 'JohanCage' bio page, but I can't read the black text with that background.

Thanks for the comments,guys.
Chris, I agree with what you said about some images not fitting in, the gallery is one of the areas that still needs the most work. On my other site I had a separate slide show for wedding stuff, but since I'm not that experienced in weddings it wasn't much variety. Not sure what I want to do here as I would like to get wedding business but not really wanting more than one portfolio slide.
Mike, I wasn't seeing that, but I saw on my editor that I had a unused template page still on my site. I deleted it.
Slide show is set for 3 second pause. Is that slow are is it just not loading? It seems to play well for me.

I saw the first image then it went blank (no image) until the third slide. Seem to work once all of the images loaded. Like I said though, my computer is very old (10+ years old) so I just get used to it.

I just get a blank page - almost certainly because I have cookies blocked by default but still if that is a requirement the site should handle it gracefully and bump the user to a "cookies required" page, rather than just failing to a blank page.

Good content! It worked OK for me, & I like being able to choose the image I see.

This of course is just my opinion, but the increased pace of the slide show is making me feel rushed. Because your images have such a soft, quiet quality to them, I think the pace of the slideshow takes away from that feeling. I was much more comfortable viewing your website yesterday. And someone can always click ahead if they are in a hurry.

Thanks so much for the feedback everyone! Chris, I really appreciate your specific input. I took out the transition method of the slide show and left it at three sec. I didn't realize it was seeming to go by a bit faster after that. I changed it it 5.35 for now. People can always click on it and go through at their own pace, but I'm sure alot of people may not realize that.

Looks very good overall. Loading and scrolling is all right on my computer, but doesn't appear very fast. I think it might be slow on lower end machines.

The image you have on your home page is very strong, but doesn't really work well as a background on the other pages. From what I'm seeing, there's just a part of a shoulder and some hair sticking out of the main content.

Thanks, jefzor. The background actually works better depending on the screen you are on. I have view it on a couple of laptops(medium and large) and the shoulder and hair don't show in the background. I edit on a large monitor and it is visible on it. Were you viewing from a large screen, too?

I'm viewing the site on an android device. Your front page shows an image (girl with mask) and nothing else. I tapped on the menu and was able to navigate to other pages from there but it took me a while to figure that out. Maybe you can add something else to the mobile view of the front page?

Vik - that's the way it is on my windows phone, too. I would like to make the menu button more clear but my editor doesn't seem to allow anything different on the mobile version.
