It's been a long winter with no racing since last September so the one day meeting at Oliver's Mount in Scarborough got me back on track. If you know the circuit then you know there aren't too many open spaces so apologies now that there aren't any wide angle shots.

Cheers Aidan, hope you get good weather. One of these days I'll get over for some proper Irish road racing. Will be waiting for you to post some photos here. Enjoy.

Lowieken,

good news I will be at the TT this year. Just for race week though. And I will post a few photos from the racing.

If you ever get the opportunity get to the Island for the TT, the footage from the DVDs is good but nothing compares to seeing the bikes passing you at over 100mph along public roads.

I used to ride, until last year. I sold the bike, I just hadn't enough opportunities to ride. But it's still in the blood, seeing those bikes fly down the country road at incredible speeds just makes my heart run faster. And the TT is just the pinacle of road racing to me ... (allthough the north west 200 is a very very close second) But I just want to live the event once, see, hear and feel the bikes wizz by at 100 mph + speeds and that within reaching distance ....

Sweet shots! I love the intensity in Guy's eyes! Cowton mowing the grass with his knee!! Awesome! The sidecar shot is cool as well!

Gary,

I was wearing a bib. However #1 and #2 were taken from the spectator side. There quite a few good spots that spectators can view at so it is ok if you don't sign on. The H&S brigade are cutting down on where media can stand and the number allowed trackside for a meeting. I'd recommend getting a weekend ticket in advance which also gives you access to the paddock areas.

Gary,

a small selection of shots you can get as a spectator.

#1 would be a great shot, even if I couldn't see the eyes which just make it even better!
