Wish I bought mine at this price! They seem to be selling at a camera per minute, this deal is going to be gone fast.

I've heard nothing but positive reviews from friends who bought from 6ave, they should be good to go!

UPDATE: Looks like they are all sold out!

prices falling like this makes me want to lean towards this vs the some-day-announced 7dm2... Guy at work has it and loves it and does wedding shoots with it as a second shooter. I am more of kids sports so tossup is 1dm4 or 5dm3... ughhh

I gave in and bought one. With cashback, ebay bucks, it came out to about $2475 for me.

We'll see how I like it. It may replace my 6D, or may not. I'm already feeling sadness if I have to say goodbye to the 6D's IQ. I know the 5DIII is very close but still... Hopefully, the AF and other advantages will make up for it. I have a couple weddings scheduled this year and the AF and dual cards slots are definitely a plus.

By the way, my wife encouraged me to get it using some of our tax return money ;) I only responded with the 2 words necessary for a successful marriage: "yes Dear!" :)

It looks like they are back in the $2900 range, too bad I was ready to pull the trigger.
