Captured these images today at Cades Cove, Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Was a momma bear and two cubs. They were in a meadow about 100 yards away.
These were cropped. (7D, 100-400L)

Nice find Vette. A sow and a cub always make for a great pic. Nice images, especially for the distance you had to shoot. #1 is a real keeper.:)

Very good, liking the first image especially, their attention on something besides you is a nice natural pose.

Thanks for showing me something I never see, despite hiking 247 miles in GSMNP last year (13 this past weekend) we never see bears on the trail! Fantastic captures and again thanks so much for sharing.

Really like the first shot especially. I only saw one bear at Cade's Cove the two times I was there and the light was horrible.
