I am still struggling with PSE and yet again need some help. I took this picture and I am mighty pleased with it except for the notice in the background.
It is obviously a captive bird, you can see the cage behind it, but if I can get rid of the notice I will be very happy indeed.
If anybody should manage it could they please tell me how they did it. Please keep it very simple as I am a total fool with any form of Photoshop.
Picture taken, hand held, with 70-200 f4 at 1/100 sec.

Hi, im not too good at cloning... so i did a bodge job of it, selecting different parts of the fence and pasting them over the sign.used heal brush to tidy it up a bit...

then i duplicated layer, selected everything but the bird using all the selection tools, removed everything but the bird... Gaussian blurred background and added a layer mask on a brightness/contrast adjustment layer, making it darker towards the bottom of the background.

then i adjusted curves on the bird layer, a bit of USM, flattened image:)

im sure lots of people can do better but this is my take on it.

I also used the clone tool, and I am not that good with it either.
So I changed the background all together.
Thanks for the quick challenge. :)

Thank you very much indeed. I shall have to get to grips with Photoshop soon as this is about the fourth time I have had to ask for assistance. I am just not very good with computer stuff. Not ideal if interested in digital photography I know.
Excellent results from both.Thank you very much.
